Level 1 is the perfect introduction to rhythm-based music-making.

Children learn foundational drumming patterns, steady beat, call-and-response, and musical form through interactive games and movement. Classes focus on participation, confidence, and teamwork while introducing structured ensemble skills.

In Level 1, students will:

• Learn to play djembe drums and percussion instruments
• Practice steady beat and rhythm patterns
• Explore musical dynamics and tempo
• Build listening skills and group awareness
• Gain confidence performing simple ensemble pieces
