Creativity takes shape! In this hands-on class, students get to explore the world of sculpture and put their imaginations to the test with exciting weekly art challenges. Students will mold, build, and design using materials like air-dry clay, foil, pipe cleaners, and recycled odds and ends, turning everyday items into amazing three-dimensional creations. One week they might build the tallest tower that can stand on its own, and the next they might create a brand-new creature using only three materials. Along the way, students will practice problem solving, try new techniques, and discover that there's no single "right" way to make art. In a fun, supportive setting, students will share ideas, celebrate each other's creativity, and head home with one-of-a-kind masterpieces and a whole lot of artistic confidence.
