DESCRIPTION:This second day builds on core babysitting skills with a focus
  on safety\,\nemergency preparedness\, and CPR/First Aid. Students learn 
 how to stay safe on\nthe job\, take responsibility for their environment\
 , and respond calmly in\nunexpected situations. \n\nTopics include:\n• St
 aying Safe on the Job — safety awareness\, playing safe & preparing for\n
 emergencies\n• First Aid Basics — when and how to get help\, supporting c
 ommon injuries &\naccidents\n• CPR Certification — age-appropriate CPR sk
 ills taught to certification\nstandards\n\nStudents leave with increased 
 confidence\, stronger safety awareness\, and the\ntools to take on babysi
 tting opportunities responsibly.\nCancellation Policy & Class Guidelines\
 n\nCancellation fee is $10 per class.\nPlease arrive at least 5 minutes e
 arly so we can begin on time.\nA short break will be provided\; students 
 may bring their own snack and beverage.\nPersonal devices must be secured
  during class. A “device hotel” will be available.\nAccessibility devices
  are permitted\, however we are unable to provide them for this course.\n
 \nEntrance Instructions\nFrom the parking lot\, walk toward the right sid
 e of the building\, facing the street and go up the stairs to the entranc
 e door there.\nPlease do not use the main front doors at the top of the l
 arge front stairs\, nor the ground-level door on the right side without s
 tairs.\n\nThe parking lot is located on the right side of the building.\n
 ----\nStephen LaPaglia is a Firefighter\, Paramedic\, and CPR instructor 
 with over 26\nyears of EMS experience\, including 17 years as a paramedic
 \, and 20 years of\nexperience teaching CPR.  Bringing real-world emergen
 cy response experience to\nevery class to ensure practical\, confident\, 
 and effective lifesaving training.
