Ms. Judy is an absolute legend. She engages all of us--babies, toddlers, and parents/caregivers with lively songs, instruments, and rhythms. She understands and supports the needs of every child in the class and makes everyone feel welcome. She skillfully interweaves music theory into all she does and makes music so approachable and enjoyable. My granddaughter absolutely loves class.

She started at 10 months and it has been such a blessing, watching her enjoy music, her classmates, and of course the extraordinary Ms. Judy!!

Having been in education myself for  35 years, I can honestly say its an absolute privilege to watch Ms. Judy teach with such passion and skill. She is something special. Thank You!

We love music together and ms Judy! This is a really good program for young kids and music highly recommend it is studied and has been around forever! The music is actually really good! It teaches the littles to be part of a group too.

As a veteran teacher w/NMUSD I have been extremely impressed with your ability to not only teach all of us so much about music, but also while gracefully managing a troop of toddlers and chatty parents! 4/26/19 No better baby music class out there! We started taking classes with Tara when my daughter was around 3 months old. I FOR SURE thought my little one would be much too young to get anything out of it, but I did it anyway as an excuse to get out of the house and have some fun with some other mom friends. Boy, was I wrong. The music is super catchy and engaging at any age, and you know it was great stimulation when she'd immediately conk out on the car ride home! Now that she's a bit older, she loves engaging with all the musical rattles, maracas, drums, etc. and Tara plans such a fun, creative class each week with so much variety in activity and dance. This is our third semester taking it with Tara and needless to say, we LOVE it!

2/3/22 We had both our girls your class... My oldest is 4 and my youngest is 21 mths.  At dinner tonight youngest was getting tired and about to to throw a fit so I started singing the "Hello Song".  Well she calmed down, immediately perked up and sang the entire song to us, going around the table saying all of our names. It was the first time she sang more than 1 line of this song. It was so touching to see how much these songs have impacted our kids in a positive way. We still use Brahm's lullaby in the car when we need to calm down. I wanted you to know that we still use these songs and these music techniques on a weekly basis, months and years later. My son started SCMT at 5 months old and he is 22 months old now!  He looks forward to seeing Ms. Judy every Wednesday and loves to get his dance moves on.  Ms. Judy does an amazing job leading the kids smoothly with songs, musical instruments, and movement.  I can credit this class for forming his interest in music and dance.  He grooves anytime and anywhere there is music.

I can't imagine that there is a better children's music class out there.  Judy and her crew are simply the best.  If you are looking for a super fun activity to share with your child that also happens to be great for them, then THIS is the class you want to be a part of.  I can't recommend it enough!

We are looking forward to joining again for summer session. The songs have given me a great tool to keep Maven entertained and calm during car rides. Amazing to see how at such a young age, she recognizes and enjoys the music. She absolutely beams with joy when she hears the “Hello Everybody” song. Thank you for making this program available to us.
