Drumming, movement, and music games for big kids ages 4–8

Rhythm Kids^® by Music Together^® is a joyful music, movement, and drumming class for children ages 4–8. Designed for preschoolers and early elementary students, Rhythm Kids^® taps into how this age group learns best: through active play, imagination, leadership, movement, and connection with friends.

Each week, children sing, dance, drum, play rhythm games, and explore music inspired by traditions from around the world. They use their voices, bodies, percussion instruments, and West African djembe drums to discover rhythm in a way that feels playful and exciting—not pressured or performance-based.

As children grow through the program, they become more confident leading, listening, creating, and collaborating. They may invent rhythm patterns, create movement ideas, conduct the group, work in ensembles, improvise, and take drum solos. They are not just learning about music; they are learning to think and create like musicians.

Rhythm Kids^® supports musical growth while also strengthening focus, coordination, executive function, social skills, creative problem-solving, and confidence. 

Tuition includes:

• weekly, 45 minute classes
• Access to Rhythm Kids^® song collection recordings and online video tutorials

Students will be required to purchase their own drum for use at home and in class.
