We are seeking PERMANENT PART-TIME teachers in Decatur, GA. MUSIC TOGETHER TEACHERS are a special bunch of music-loving people with a deep love for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers! We have discovered and nurtured instructors from a wide variety of backgrounds: preschool teachers, musical theatre performers, parents who adore our program, etc. A music degree is not required for this position but applicants must be able to sing in tune and keep a steady beat (and-- did we mention?!-- must love children). Playing a portable instrument is a plus but also not a requirement. This position works beautifully in conjunction with other part-time work. 

Music Together® originated in Princeton NJ almost 30 years ago; we are proud to have introduced it to Decatur beginning in 2013. Our internationally celebrated, research-based early childhood music and movement curriculum has introduced hundreds of thousands of families in over 40 countries worldwide to the joys of making music together. 

To become a Registered Music Together® teacher, you must attend an intense & inspiring online training and complete a 10-week apprenticeship (with a stipend) with one of our senior teachers. The online training consists of six 3.5-hour live interactive sessions on Zoom, plus five self-study modules, for a total of approximately 26–30 hours. Teacher training costs may be subsidized depending on circumstances. Teachers pay TBD based on experience and skills.
