Competition Teams

Artistic Director, Lisa Henry, started the Competition Team in 2007.

Every year we assess interested dancers to determine how many groups are needed. This year we have 4 team levels.

• Minis
  • 1 group dance at one competition
• Juniors
  • 2 group dances at two competitions
  • 1 solo dance at two competitions
• Teens and Extreme Team
  • 2 group dances at 3 competitions
  • 1 solo dance at 3 competitions

Competition Placement

• Dancer moves up when she progresses and is able to handle the next level.
• Dancers do not automatically move up after a certain age or after performing at a certain group level.
• Placement in the various levels is determined based upon the following criteria:
  • Level of technical ability
  • Level of flexibility
  • Level of performance ability
  • Class conduct, dancer desires improvement and handles feedback
  • Age, dancer has technical skills appropriate to her age group

*Reminder: Class registration is for the entire season (July through May).

Competition Team fees are due in 9 installments as follows:

**A $50 non-refundable annual registration fee is due at time of 1st installment payment.

**A $15 late fee will be assessed if payment is not received by the 5th day of the month. No exceptions. Tuition must be current in order to continue attending classes.

Extreme

Fee: $2,200

July-January installments = $340 each, February-May installments = $125 each

Teen Competition Team

Fee: $2,200

July-January installments = $340 each, February-May installments = $125 each

Junior Competition Team

Fee: $1,860

July-January installments = $272 each, February-May installments = $125 each

Mini Competition Team 

Fee: $1,120

July-January installments = $136 each, February-May installments = $110 each
