We kindly ask our dance families to respect the dress code policies of our studio. Dress codes are in place to ensure clothing is appropriate for the type of dance and is not otherwise distracting.  

• Pre-Ballet  
  • Girls: Leotard (any color), pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair pulled away from face. 
• Ballet  
  • Girls: Leotard (any color), pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in a neat bun.
  • Boys: Crew neck white short sleeve t-shirt, black shorts (above the knee) or fitted pants, white socks, black ballet or jazz shoes. 
• Ballet Company
  • Leotard (any color), pink tights, pink shoes. Ballet clothing only. Hair pulled into a neat bun. 
• Tap
  • Girls: tan tap shoes
  • Boys: black tap shoes
  • Any combination of dancewear as long as it stretches.
• Jazz
  • Girls: leotard, jazz pants/shorts/capris, tan jazz shoes 
  • Boys: Crew neck white short sleeve t-shirt, black shorts (above the knee) or fitted pants, white socks, black jazz shoes. 
• Lyrical
  • Girls: Leotard (any color), dance shorts or fitted capris, half sole lyrical shoe.  Hair up and pulled away from face. 
  • Boys: Crew neck white short sleeve t-shirt, black shorts (above the knee) or fitted pants, black ballet or jazz shoes. 
• Latin Jazz
  • Tan character shoes.
  • Any combination of dancewear as long as it stretches.
• Jazz Fusion
  • Any combination of dancewear as long as it stretches, no jeans, clothing with buckles, snaps, etc, and no street shoes. Jazz shoes only
• Modern/Contemporary/Dance Creations Technique
  • Leotard (any color) or fitted tank top, shorts or fitted capris, hair pulled up and away from face, bare feet. 
• Musical Theatre
  • Girls: Leotard (any color) or fitted tank top, fitted capris or dance shorts, hair pulled away from face, tan jazz shoes
  • Boys: crew neck short sleeve t-shirt, black shorts or fitted pants, black jazz shoes
• Competition Team
  • Girls: Any combination of dancewear as long as it stretches, tan jazz shoes.
  • Boys:  Any combination of dancewear as long as it stretches, black jazz shoes. 
  • All: Competition Team jacket (included in competition fees).
• Acro Dance
  • Leotard (any color), tights, fitted capris/dance shorts, bare feet. Hair pulled back and away from face.
• Ascension Dance Company
  • Leotard (any color) or fitted tank, dance shorts/fitted capris, Grecian sandals.

Not allowed in class at any time: 

• Street shoes
• Loose fitting clothing
