Try a Music Together® Class

Curious about Music Together? We’d love to welcome your family to try a class at Joyful Hearts Music.

A try-a-class visit is a great way to experience the joy of Music Together® before enrolling for a full session. You and your child will sing, move, play instruments, and make music alongside other families in one of our mixed-age classes.

Music Together classes are designed for children from birth through age 5 and the grownups who love them^®. Babies, toddlers, preschoolers, parents, grandparents, and caregivers are all welcome.

How Try-a-Class Visits Work

Families may try a class in one of two ways:

1. Scheduled Try-a-Class Events
Before a new session begins, we may offer special try-a-class dates for new families who would like to visit before registering.

2. Try a Current Class
Once the session has started, families may also be able to try a class during the current semester if there is space available.

Because our classes include movement, instruments, and active participation, try-a-class visits must be scheduled in advance so we can make sure there is enough room for everyone.

What to Expect

During class, your child is welcome to participate in whatever way feels natural. Some children jump right in, some prefer to watch at first, and some move in and out of the activities. All of those responses are completely normal.

Grownups are an important part of class. You do not need to have any musical experience — just come ready to sing, move, play, and enjoy time with your child.

Try-a-Class Fee

The try-a-class fee is $25 per family.

Younger siblings under 8 months may attend in a carrier at no additional cost. Siblings older than 8 months will need to sign up for the class, and will receive 50% off tuition.
